Dr. Kim began his education by obtaining his medical degree in American College of Surgeons. He then proceeded through a rigorous residency program specializing in general surgery at American College of Surgeons.

These years laid the foundation for his specialized training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Indiana.

Dr. Kim is double board certified as a fellow in the American College of Surgeons, and is a board certified member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). He has also trained for the subspeciality of Hand and Microvascular surgery at the University of Southern California. Dr. Kim’ s extensive training has given him opportunities to train abroad in Asia to better understand the difference in aesthetics for Asian patients.

Dr. Kim believes every surgery should be individually tailored. This is reflected in his patience and care in making accurate assessments and analysis, formulating realistic treatment plans, and providing a pleasant procedural experience from beginning through the recovery phase.
